Located on a remediated former contamination site, the Schaus-Vorhies Manufacturing (SVM) solar field is a prime example of transforming unused land into a productive, revenue-generating asset.

This half-megawatt solar array, covering 100% of the company’s annual net electricity needs, is expected to pay for itself within 4-5 years. By repurposing an industrial brownfield, SVM has converted previously unproductive land into a sustainable and clean energy source.
