We take pride in designing, constructing and operating systems that enhance energy security, improve operational efficiency, and create a lasting environmental and economic impact.
Founder's Letter
I created Ideal Energy because I believe that the power to transform our world begins with how we produce and consume energy. In 2006, I returned home to the Midwest after spending 12+ years serving in the US Navy SEAL teams and working elite security details in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. I have experienced first-hand the security threats and devastating global conflict that surrounds finite, carbon-based energy sources. My new mission became implementing localized energy solutions that reduce global conflict, empower local communities, and create an abundant energy future.
In 2009, Ideal Energy launched offering energy efficiency and solar energy solutions. We've grown into an industry leader using creative thinking and design innovation to implement some of the nation's most technologically advanced energy solutions. From designing and installing the first commercial solar project in Iowa, to pioneering peak shaving with solar and storage, Ideal Energy has been at the forefront of the energy transformation.
We're committed to this industry because of the positive effects we see from it - the cumulative effect of carbon emission reductions, creating greater resource security, the power to bring communities together, and the opportunity for economic growth that creates a more vibrant world.
