Electrical Apprenticeship Program

Electricians specializing in clean energy systems are in high demand. Ideal Energy’s Electrical Apprenticeship Program is an immersive program focused on clean energy technology. Apprentices will work alongside our team of industry experts, gaining 4,000+ hours of on-the-job training plus a curriculum of traditional electrical coursework and specialization in renewable energy technology.
Upon completion, apprentices will receive a nationally recognized credential from the U.S. Department of Labor and qualify to sit for the Journeyman exams. You will be positioned to succeed in this high-growth field.

Construction Craft Laborer (CCL) Apprenticeship Program

Ideal Energy’s Construction Craft Laborer (CCL) Apprenticeship Program will prepare you to excel on the jobsite.  Led by industry experts, our apprenticeship program will help you develop advanced knowledge and practical skills needed for top performance in utility-scale solar and construction trade industries.

Apprenticeship FAQ

  • To qualify to apply for our apprenticeship programs, you must be a fulltime employee at Ideal Energy and have completed your 90-day introductory period.
  • Ideal Energy’s apprenticeship programs open for participation multiple times a year. Employees may apply at any time and applications are reviewed and selected on a quarterly basis.
  • The costs of our apprenticeships are fully reimbursable on completion of the program. Upfront costs for the apprenticeship are covered by Ideal Energy, and apprentices are set on an affordable payment plan. Upon successful completion of each apprenticeship year or milestone, Ideal Energy reimburses the apprentice for the educational costs.
  • We accept the transfer of documented classroom or field hours for qualifying apprenticeships.
