Kemin Industries, a global bioscience and nutritional ingredient company, won in the Renewable Energy – Private category for its 720 kilowatt solar installation at its Global Headquarters in Des Moines. 

The solar array – designed and built by Ideal Energy –incorporates active-tracking technology and bifacial panels. It powers 100% of the headquarters building. The installation serves as a flagship project and is being replicated at three of Kemin’s international locations. The organization has made an impressive commitment to sustainability with renewable energy — multiple international Kemin locations have added solar energy or are planning for upcoming installations.
