The Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) recently completed a 100 kW roof-mounted solar array as part of its headquarters expansion in Ankeny, IA. The 501(c)5 non-profit drives value for farmers through strategic engagement, improved crop productivity and sustainability, and effective advocacy.

Waldinger Corporation served as prime contractor, with Ideal Energy subcontracted for design, procurement, and installation including racking, modules, rapid shutdown devices, and inverters. Ideal handled all DC electrical work, while Waldinger managed AC electrical work from the inverters to the interconnection point. Ideal was also responsible for communications and monitoring equipment installation, and final system commissioning.
