Fareway Stores, a supermarket chain with 137 locations throughout the Midwest, installed solar at three of its Iowa locations. Stores in Norwalk, Ottumwa, and Spirit Lake now have a total of 483.7 kW of solar capacity. The project portfolio includes a mix of ground-mounted and roof-mounted installations and will provide the stores with up to 35% of their electricity needs annually.
